It will be a special meeting point at Castle Sigmundskron. The MMM Firmian will not only offer information about the arts, but will also present information about the mountains and its people. Civic Museum in Bruneck

New founded in 1990 and 1995, established in 1990 and reopened in 1995 in the old post rooms, but it exists since 1912. 1939-40 it was liquidate under the fascism and the inventories were brought to Bozen. The new museum contains parts of the art-history assemblage of the quondam city museum of Bruneck, e.g. carving art and paintings of Michael and Friedrich Pacher. The focal point is on modern and contemporary graphic of artists from the regional environment. It’s also a special department for „graphic and literature“ of different contemporary artists.
